Waiting On Wednesday:

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Breaking The Spine

This weeks Waiting on Wednesday is Harry Potter and the Cursed Child by J. K. Rowling, Jack Thornes & John Tiffany

From Goodreads: It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband, and father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes darkness comes from unexpected places.
Why I Can't Wait to Read It

I am not your average Potter Head. I didn't actually read the entire series until a couple of years ago and then I came to love it. It introduced me to a whole new realm of books, fantasy is one of my favorites now. It introduced me to so many cool people, Potter Heads are loyal and hilarious. It inspired me. It is an amazing world I love feeling apart of. So naturally I'm excited for another installment in the series.

Best Books most Recently Read

Here's my list of the most recent highest ratings books I've finished.
I often times will avoid a series that just came out and has 2 more books to go.
For me personally, waiting a year between books lessens the experience. I've forgotten details and that craving to know whats happened. (as much as I loved Cress I still haven't gotten around to reading Winter)

Man Crush Monday: Gage

Today's Man Crush Monday is Gage from "From Ashes" by Molly McAdams

This Texan cowboy swept me off of my feet from the first interaction. He was amazingly perfect, never rude or disrespectful. He was very straightforward with his intentions and even when everything seemed to work against him he held strong. Gage was this simple, super sweet, sincere nice guy many girls would probably pass over or walk all over or under appreciate in real life. He was unrealistically humble.

4 things I loved about Gage
1. The sweetest guy ever

2. So Patient

3. He was fun

4. So loyal even when he didn't have to be

Top Ten Tuesday: 10 Books I wish I'd talked about more

Really Loved But Haven't Talked about Enough

a friend introduced me to this book. It took me a while to get into it, but the slow builds are my favorite kind. They seem to stick with me longer and more thoroughly.

Caught me completely by surprise. I love the strong female leads in this book. I feel like it was also about acceptance as no one really lived the "average" life here.

I'm not into graphic novels, and I have no idea why. This was my second by Craig Thomoson and was it was a beautiful heart warming moving story.

I loved the simplicity and yet complications of this story. The characters, the secrets, the solutions.

This story was a surprise. Completely different than her previous books. There's an undertone of reality that is far too real for fiction.

Fantasy + Adult romance= perfection
that cover isn't my favorite though

this series was journey, through worlds and lives and across time and all came to be an epic revolution.

I have no clue why this ya dystopia stood out among the rest to me. the honesty of the characters, the desperation from the communities of people, and the fight for the survival of mankind. And a love so pure it made enemies friends enough to work together to save themselves

this mystery you're solving without even realizing it, this love your growing towards before realizing you shouldn't

So beautifully written without going overboard, an unexpected love, and a sister just trying to save her best friend, her sister.
